No Excuses Mentality

Entrepreneurship doesn't mean to make excuses. The only right answer to anything is to learn how to be completely accountable for yourself, what you do and what you do not do. When you accept everything and accept that accountability, than you are willing to live a no excuse life. You want to create a powerful internal dynamic rather than being externally motivated by what is happening around you and will become internally motivated. You learn how to believe in yourself and set yourself to standards that will push you.

Unstoppable Partnerships

For a partnership to be successful each member needs to feel a sense of support and optimism about the collaboration. When partnerships are supportive they are infused with hope. What sustains motivation is the belief that with partnership things can only get better. When you feel supported in a partnership they become inspired to more clearly visualize the process of achieving the goal. It is essential that the partnership be grounded in an unwavering belief in the integrity of the goals and values of the desired purpose.

Trust is a basic need for a successful partnership. All partners need to know the relationship is collaborative, loyal and solid. If the partnership is in need of support or guidance, the partners trust they can come together in a way where needs and concerns can be met and realized. Elite partnerships are made up of people who view each other as necessary equals and show mutual respect for each other's differences. They find ways to focus on solutions, not problems and are committed to open communication to keep things together.

In successful partnerships, there is an unceasing commitment to equality, diversity and flexibility. Each member leads by example, has sense of personal freedom and an undying commitment to the goals at hand. Collaboration is build upon open and honest communication, direct and consistent interaction and the personal time to think things through. Each person understand their role in the relationship dynamic and what each must do to be successful. Each member is fully supported and encouraged by the partnership to fulfill all of their individual and collective goals. In this way a successful partnership is made up of strong individuals being supported in a collaborative and collective relationship dynamic where all are striving towards shared success.

Be Your Own Boss

Imagine a life in which you can live on your own terms, have the freedom to choose how you spend your time and the projects on which you work. With enough planning, patience and determination, this situation can be yours. While self-employment can be tough at times, as it comes with its own problems, stress and setbacks, the sense of accomplishment and pride you'll derive from it is worth the investment.

Why should you be your own boss?
1. The flexibility to work anywhere because you can choose your location you want to work in and with your laptop or iPad, you can work anywhere.
2. Do work that you enjoy because we spend about 80% of our lifetime spent working. So while you're working, why shouldn't you have fun? Be an entrepreneur and get paid to do something that you actually enjoy.
3. You have the opportunity to create jobs for others. There's no greater accomplishment than being able to support others to help them pay their bills and feed their families.
4. You will leave a legacy behind for your family and close ones. Working for yourself is an adventure. It will provide you with great stories to tell, wisdom to impart and a reason for people to remember and to respect you.

Executive of the Week!

Great job once again Mr. Cody Dominguez for being the top executive at Modern Marketing! Week after week, you have shown progress within yourself but also have helped others to see their own path of success.

Here are some quotes stated from top leaders in the world:

Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.
—Jack Welch

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. —John Maxwell

Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily; even if you had no title or position.
—Brian Tracy

A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent.
—Douglas MacArthur

Modern Marketing's Emerging Leaders Conference

The 21st and 22nd of February this year marked the first OSP Emerging Leaders Conference in 2015.  Along with having the top Sales Representatives and Administrators from the company present, the main speaker who hosted the conference was our very own Vice President of Sales; Carlos Linares.

While describing OSP's future plans for the company, Carlos taught us what it truly means to be a leader and an entrepreneur.  With the expansion One Source Provider is experiencing, spending a weekend discussing how to develop the people around us as well as ourselves was quite significant.  In fact, one of the greatest things taken away from the weekend was the simple fact that being a true leader and business owner means learning to look past yourself.

Here we realize that expanding a business is more than just a numbers game, it is about working smart to develop the right people, so that the trend continues. Most businesses can train their people to do the job great, but lack the relationships that need to be built that makes them last a lifetime. We focus most of our time building relationships with our people and developing them into higher roles within the company, therefore, creating a rock hard foundation to expand our business upon. The real secret to finding success is the realization that it is a journey, not a destination.

With everything we learned and took away from this weekend, it is evident that these conferences will become more frequent and only better with time.  Being able to learn from such a dedicated member of our team as well from each other has only strengthened the relationship between all of our offices.  Learning and growing with each other, while also being able to have fun and enjoy amenities provided by OSP, had us leaving with a lot to take back to our offices, including some new relationships.

Until next time, remember that what a successful person does daily, is what an unsuccessful person only does occasionally.
